I was there to other day to check it out. The service was very poor. There that many people but the staff didn't bother to clean the tables! You know how it is when you eat off a pita bread - food falls off of it. The food wasn't that great either. I don't recommend this place. There's plenty of other vegetarian/medditerranean places around.

Oh, Maoz. Why do you have to disappoint me like this? Weren't we good together? With your freakily delicious vegetarian food and garlic sauce?

This was (briefly) one of my favorite delivery places on the UWS and I'm sure it's still probably great to eat in resturaunt, but the last three times I ordered I was given the absolute wrong order. Not a little wrong. Super wrong. Nowhere in the same vicinity of what I actually wanted to eat. And then I heard reports of it consistently happening to my friends who also ordered. Once I can forgive, but thrice means me and Maoz are forever parted.

The food, however, is good and plentiful. Ordering their falafal with three salads and fries gets you something that could last you for a meal and a snack. Sweet potato fries are definitely a must, particuarly paired with their garlic mayo. Some salads are a better value then others (if you have olives in your fridge, do not, for example get olive. They will not be a surprise or a revelation and will in fact, just be some whole olives) but the tabouli is good and so is the cucumber salad.

All in all. Probably good for a sitdown but don't order unless you're willing to wait for your meal to be replaced or just *love* surprises.
